OGDEN VALLEY WINTER EVENTS

NORTHERN UTAH’S THREE  RESORTS OFFER FULL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

 

(Ogden Valley, UT)  The 2009 – 2010 Winter Ski Season is now in full swing.  All of the local resorts are now open and report great snow conditions.  


The numbers are in and SKI Magazine Reader’s once again gave high marks for
Northern Utah’s resorts.  Powder Mountain was ranked in the top 10 nationwide for overall satisfaction, and was ranked #2 for snow & value while Snowbasin earned top 10 rankings for lifts, on mountain food, service and weather.

Superfly Open Snow Kite Festival  at Powder Mountain, March 11 – 14. Daytime activities at the resort during the festival will include introductory kite clinics, kite demos, a freestyle competition and kitercross races.  The event will be part of the US Snowkite Tour.  The festival is sponsored by  Best Kiteboarding.

Utah Special Olympics  Alpine Ski Races at Powder MountainMar 26 – 27, Friday Trials :Noon - 4 PM, Saturday Races:  10 AM - 1 PM. Award ceremony immediately following final race Sundown Lift area.

Parrot Head Weekend at Wolf Creek Utah Ski Resort: Mar. 27-28

12th Annual Spring Session at Powder Mountain,   Apr 10, at  Hidden Lake Halfpipe & Terrain Park 10 AM - 2:30 PM. It’s the party of the season…BBQ, band, rail and pipe jam, big air and product toss. Riders and skiers of all ages compete against each other without the constraints of regular contests. Free with lift pass.
