The 2nd annual Monster Energy /
Powder Mountain Motocross is being held Aug. 19-22 at Powder Mountain in
Eden. More than 1,000 riders attended the inaugural event in 2009.
Watch Jeremy “Showtime” McGrath - racing starts Aug. 19.
Admission to the event is $10 per person per day and free for children 4
and younger.

2 Metro Games & Harvest Moon Festival

Entertainment, World Class Athletic Events, and good old fashioned
family fun all in the Downtown Historic 25th Street Area. The festivities and events will kick off Friday evening, and will
continue all day Saturday until 7:00pm. High flying demonstrations
performed by professional Streetboarder Brinton Gunderson on a half-pipe
erected on our city streets! Dimension Streetboards will also be there
to awe the crowd with performances on Streetboards and BMX bikes as
well. Anti-Gravity Utah will be performing street-trampoline demonstrations also. Live Music

runners craving a challenge, this half-marathon distance trail run will
still feature the infamous 2,300 foot climb from Pineview Reservoir to
Snowbasin Resort. This grueling “Xduro” endurance trail run promises
runners a spectacular view of Wheeler Canyon and
well-deserved bragging rights at the finish.

Utah
is offering in two
distances. The full distance race is 1500m swim / 30km mountain bike /
10km trail run. The sport distance is a 750m swim / 19K mountain bike /
5K trail run race held in conjunction with the USA Championship event.
Athletes can compete in the XTERRA Utah race as a team or individual.

Superfly Open Snow Kite
Festival at Powder Mountain, March 11 – 14. Daytime activities at the
resort during the festival will include introductory kite clinics, kite demos,
a freestyle competition and kitercross races. The event will be part of
the US Snowkite Tour. The festival is sponsored by Best Kiteboarding.

10 AM - 2:30 PM. It’s the party of the season…BBQ, band, rail and
pipe jam, big air and product toss. Riders and skiers of all ages compete
against each other without the constraints of regular contests. Free with lift
pass.
